Wow it only seems like yesterday we were celebrating Valentines Day and here we are again.
A Valentines Festival in China is called the Qixi Festival when they celebrate the joining and meeting of the weaver girl and the cowherd boy and is held on the 7th of August 2019.
In Australia here we know it as the day true love shines. When many a young man spends up big to impress his true love in the hope that she will reciprocate back to him. Do you remember your very first Valentines Day.
I have been with my wonderful hubby Rob for over 35 years and let me just say it does not just happen – it takes some work. I can be hardwork some days (As a Dragon in Chinese Zodiac we are good at self punishment) but we have our own little quirky codes and sayings to get us through those days. In the most though we are great, we are both on the same page for work habits (we are each as bad as the other sometimes) family expectations and our loving barometer.
I have been working with a wonderful couple recently and she is running out of her Valentines days so she makes the most of them every year she has left. She decide to start making things from the heart instead of buying them. One year it was flowers from her garden, another it was photos re-living the story of their love and union. This year she has chosen to bake from the heart and is making her wonderful husband cupcakes. 1 cupcake and decorating in a theme of their most memorable Valentines Days.

If they lose their mate they remain unattached and can soon die themselves, they are never wavering in their devotion. They also represent marriage, relationships and love. They are said to bring harmony to a relationship. When you place your ducks make sure they are travelling together towards the same direction. This ensures that your relationship is also traveling on the same path. Never have them facing each other head on or one behind the other.
