“December’s Turning: Stepping Gently Into 2026”
Share
As we move through this transition from 2025 to 2026, we pause to breathe, ground ourselves, and hold the hands that guide us. We allow what nourishes our energy to flow in, and what no longer serves to fall away, ready to step into the momentum and courage the Yang Fire Horse brings.
2025, and the quiet turning toward 2026
This past year has been heavy for many of us, myself included.
It has asked for endurance, reflection, and the courage to face what we might otherwise overlook. Yet, there has been learning, growth, and quiet preparation for what lies ahead.
For me, it feels as though my body and soul have been out of alignment since 2024, shaping the ground for 2026. I thought I was keeping pace. I thought I was prepared. But life, as it often does, had its own timing — and I’ve learned that sometimes the slow unfolding is exactly what we need.
Over the last few months, it’s become clear that my entry into 2026 will be gentler than I had imagined.
Slower. More deliberate. And while my head had other plans, the wisdom of my soul — and the support of those around me — had different ideas.
I’ve listened. To holistic voices. To soulful guidance. And, thankfully, to a wonderful medical team who have helped me steady the ground beneath my feet.
So 2026 will look different. No less meaningful — just more honest. And I already know it will resonate far more deeply with my purpose.
I can’t wait to bring all the 2026 work to you — through our workshops, our gatherings, and the spaces we create together. The dates may move. Some things may shift online before they land in person. But the important parts — the clarity, the timing, the guidance — will be there when you need them.
That, I trust completely.
Finding simplicity and grounding
The second half of this year has changed me.
I’ve been simplifying my world.
Creating a more natural, grounded environment.
Spending time in the veggie garden. Smelling the flowers with my granddaughters.
Keeping the home fires burning. Working alongside Rob while we finish the renovation on our big house — which, somehow, is going on the market in the next two weeks..
How we’ve done all of that this year is nothing short of a miracle.
We are so blessed with our children and grandchildren — who have kept us moving, kept us laughing, and yes… quite literally pushed us over the finish line.
And I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Moments of joy and connection
Even in the heaviness of 2025, there have been beautiful moments to celebrate.
I’ve travelled with my mum to ancestral and family homes in Denmark, the Isle of Man, and the UK. I have shared my retreat healing journey to Croatia with Rob. We’ve celebrated our grandson’s first birthday, and many family milestones. We’ve strengthened important relationships, welcomed new connections, and watched our environments flourish.
Sometimes, even I have found it a challenge to see the balance and peace around me.
I know for some of you, 2025 has been hugely successful — a year to thrive, flourish, and shine. Congratulations to you all.
Looking forward to 2026
With changing Qi, with honesty, and with respect for my own energy.
My plan for the year ahead is simple: do what aligns.
Trust the timing.
Work with the energy, not against it.
And I am very much looking forward to being back in workshop spaces with you — working through personal calendars, revisiting the beautiful workshop we had to move last year, and sharing the rhythm of 2026 - The Yang Fire Horse together.
I’m fortunate. I always seem to have a quiet presence on my shoulder, whispering the wisdom that needs to be shared. I trust that.
I let my own experience blend with what moves through me. And together, it creates something meaningful.
That’s what makes the workshops such a joy for me with you.
The Year of the Yang Fire Horse
The Yang Fire Horse is a year of movement, courage, visibility, and momentum.
It brings heat and speed.
It wants action.
It wants truth.
It wants us to stop circling and start moving forward.
But the Horse also teaches us something very important: movement without direction becomes chaos.
This is not a year to be dragged by events. It’s a year to hold the reins.
The Horse will carry us far — if we stay present, grounded, and responsive.
It rewards those who act with intention, who pause to check their footing, and who are willing to adjust course without losing momentum.
Control in 2026 doesn’t mean rigidity.
It means resilience.
It means flexibility.
And I’ll be honest — flexibility isn’t always my strongest suit. This double Dragon, Tiger, Horse energy woman can be a little determined. So this year, in our calendar workshops, we’ll go even deeper into your charts. We’ll find the energy you need to work with the Horse — not against it — and make 2026 significant in ways that feel strong, steady, and supportive.
What 2025 has asked of us
The Year of the Snake has been transformational.
It has asked us to shed skins that no longer fit. To decide what stays and what goes. To complete karmic agreements. To carry heavy emotional and physical loads — and then finally set some of them down.
For many, it has been a year of loss. Not only through loved ones crossing to the other side, but through relationships, identities, and energetic connections that quietly came to an end.
Some connections fell away because their time was done. Others because we outgrew them. And some because we were released — even when we didn’t understand why.
All of it has asked us to remember who we are.
When the body speaks
One of the strongest lessons of this year, especially for me, has been this: what we don’t feel, the body will eventually speak.
When emotions are held, avoided, or pushed aside, they don’t disappear.
They settle.
They store.
And over time, they become dis-ease.
The signs are often gentle at first:
-
constant tiredness
-
tension that never quite leaves
-
irritability that doesn’t match the moment
-
foggy thinking
-
disrupted sleep
-
a sense of heaviness you can’t explain
And when we don’t stop… when we don’t listen… the body raises its voice.
That’s not failure.
That’s wisdom.
The heart chakra feels deeply. When it becomes overburdened, it sends messages through the whole system — asking for support, asking for honesty, asking us to slow down and hear what’s really going on.
Stillness matters. Nature matters. Grounding matters.
I’ve worked with some incredible holistic practitioners over the past few months. Their care, insight, and presence have helped clear fog I didn’t even realise I was walking through. Sometimes we know the truth — we just can’t see it clearly on our own.
We all need someone to walk beside us at times. To hold our hand while we clear what no longer belongs. I’ll be sharing those names with you — because gratitude matters, and their work deserves to be honoured.
Closing the nine, stepping into the one
We are nearing the end of a nine-year cycle. And there is still time to release what needs to be released.
Some of that energy will carry into 2026 — and that’s okay.
The One year is about beginnings, yes — but it’s also about completion with clarity. It helps us finish what we couldn’t quite complete in the Nine. The Horse gives us the momentum the Snake sometimes took away — helping us move forward where we once felt stuck.
This next cycle will look different. It should.
You’ve been doing the work. I see it in your messages, your emails, your questions. If your feet felt stuck this year, don’t stop now. Keep going. Reach for support. Use the resources around you.
Movement doesn’t have to be fast. It just has to be honest.
A word on time, energy, and trust
I believe deeply in quantum physics — in the way our past, present, and future exist together.
That quiet knowing you sometimes doubt? That sense that “this will work out” even when you can’t explain how?
That’s your future self reaching back.
She knows you make it.
She knows you stumble.
She knows you pause.
And she’s still holding your hand.
Stillness is where you hear her. Nature is where she meets you.
Hand on heart. Breathe. Let the head soften. Trust what you feel.
All is unfolding exactly as it should.
One minute
Take one breath in.
And one breath out.
Pause. Look back at your year.
Notice how far you’ve come — even if it doesn’t look the way you thought it would.
You might be surprised by the distance you’ve travelled.
And before I forget… dates
In all of this, I almost forgot to tell you — with a smile — that the Chinese New Year Banquet is back. I had such a wonderful time with you last year.
I’ve pencilled in 13 February 2026.
Please note: pencilled in. I’ll confirm it toward the end of January once a few non-movable dates settle for me. And if it shifts, it shifts. This year is asking me to stay fluid.
I am, after all, retraining my Yang Wood energy to find at least a little bend in the trunk.
There is so much more to share with you about 2026, and it will unfold gently over the coming weeks. Before Christmas, I’ll also be sharing the home energy “Gathering” blog for 2025 — how to prepare your space for harmony, love, and restorative peace, whether you’re hosting many or sitting quietly with yourself.
I may be galloping a little slower than planned — but I’m still moving.
And I’m with you.
Thank you for your support, your presence, and the way this group holds one another. Some of you have been walking beside me for a very long time. This space remains my favourite — and it always will.
With gratitude and steadiness,
Leanne
